Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the JobCraft Chrome extension or visiting jobcraft.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

JobCraft is a Chrome extension that analyzes job listings against your resume to provide fit scores, tailored resumes, and cover letters. The service uses AI to generate these outputs.

3. User Accounts

You sign in using your Google account via OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information and may not create accounts for others without permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
• Upload malicious content or content that infringes on others' rights
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Use the service to generate misleading or fraudulent job application materials

5. Intellectual Property

The JobCraft extension, website, and underlying technology are owned by JobCraft. You retain ownership of your resume, cover letter templates, and other content you upload. AI-generated outputs (tailored resumes, cover letters, fit analyses) are provided for your personal use in job applications.

6. AI-Generated Content

JobCraft uses AI to generate fit scores, resume modifications, and cover letters. These outputs are suggestions and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers. JobCraft does not guarantee the accuracy of AI outputs or that using the service will result in job offers.

7. Google Drive Integration

If you choose to save documents to Google Drive, JobCraft will create files in your Drive using the permissions you grant. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep JobCraft available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

JobCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the extension's Profile section. Upon deletion, your stored data (resume text, analysis history) will be permanently removed from our servers.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
